The Commissioner of Insurance is the Chief Executive of the Commission and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Commission

The Deputy Commissioner assists the Commissioner in the day-to-day administration of the Commission.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Davor held senior management positions at the Bank of Ghana, Cal Bank and ADB. He holds B.Sc. Admin (Accounting) and MBA (Finance) degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon; and a member of ICA (Ghana).
 

Mrs. Emma Ocran is a Barrister at-law and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. She holds an EMBA from GIMPA. Her entire working career has been spent in the Insurance Industry.In 1993 she joined the National Insurance Commission (NIC). Mrs.Ocran is responsible for ensuring that NIC operates, essentially within the Insurance regulatory framework.

Mr. Martin Abayateye is the Internal Auditor. He has been in the Commission since January 2006. Prior to his appointment with the Commission, he worked with Money Systems, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Novotel Hotel and Deloitte.Mr. Martin Abayateye is a member of the ICAG, IIA and has an eMBA degree in Project Management from PGSM.

Mr. Isaac Yaw Buabeng is the Head of Marketing, Research and External Relations. He has been in the Commission since January 2006. Prior to his appointment with the Commission, he was the Head of Marine and Aviation Department of the State Insurance Company of Ghana. Mr. Buabeng is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon. He is also an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK (ACII).
